The Mercedes-Maybach GLS is the first of its kind as it is the first time the Maybach name appears on an SUV. The Maybach's lavishness is amplified with a revised interior and a retuned powertrain designed to make its rear passengers just as comfortable as its front passengers.

The GLS' power comes from a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that is put to the ground through a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
